The Challenge
At $70 million, the Centre of Excellence is the largest rugby league training precinct in the world and the first gender-equal elite facility in Australia — with training facilities replicated for men and women across NRL, NRLW and Elite Pathways programmes. The build encompassed five full-sized rugby league fields plus the adjoining Community Centre that forms part of an international-standard match venue with a 1,500-seat grandstand, multi-purpose function rooms and community education spaces.
