Caddens Corner is a new neighbourhood shopping destination in western Sydney and part of The Quarter — Penrith’s new health and education precinct. The loading docks demanded a Steel Roller Shutter measuring 14,000mm wide by 4,500mm high, with both manufacturing and on-site installation needing close coordination. The first tenancy, BWS, needed a security grille suited to its shopfront.

The NSW team kicked off manufacturing of KRGS Steel Roller Shutters for the loading docks at scale, with KRGS developing the solution for both manufacture and installation in partnership with Mainbrace. A KRGS 19mm Aluminium Grille was installed across the front of BWS.

Caddens Corner delivers approximately 9,000sqm of retail with a full-line Woolworths supermarket, specialty shops, food and dining precinct, childcare centre, medical centre and gym — a key component of Western Sydney University’s Western Growth strategy.
